The old Armitage platforms stopped right on the south side of Armitage Avenue, where the brown railing stops. The platforms were lengthened south of the station. The brick wall next to the platform is new but the building itself is not--part of the building was torn down to accomodate the wider platforms but the rest was saved and capped off.

It will be run by an artist, who aims to bring critical art practice into the public realm of daily commuter travel, framing The poetics of public space and offering a place for artist’s visibility outside of the normal Gallery environment.
