I have heard some people have the wish to be a little taller, this maybe going over the top. Lol.

Celebrations at the Float

This is claimed to be the longest bench seating anywhere in the world - it dates back to the era when long excursion trains arrive here from all over Northern England, the Midlands and Scotland which explains why it's also one of the longest platforms on the network. It's pleasing to see that it's recently repainted.

Heading through Millennium Point, noticed this area Platform. Used to be a cinema here in the past.

Venue space for hire with an auditorium.

PLATFORM is a 200 sq/m wide open space on level 1 of our iconic venue. It boasts a built-in bar and presentation and AV facilities making it ideal for banqueting, conferences and breakout space.

This space overlooks the vibrant bustle of our central ATRIUM and can open up into the outdoor space, INGRESS for breaks or pop-up stalls.

A staircase leads into our 350-seat AUDITORIUM making this the perfect accompaniment and most popular with AGMs and product launches.

The Vista Plus 200 film could barely cope with the dynamic range needed here, so these look better converted to black and white. Well, either that or I underexposed - maybe I should just let the highlights blow out a bit, film can probably handle that better than underexposure.

Old train pictures

There is something incredibly eerie about a deserted Victorian railway station. You feel you are being jostled by ghostly porters and sepulchral stationmasters. But at least the ghost trains run on time...

Aldwych platform 2

This is a platform ticket that I purchased from a machine at the British Transport Museum at Clapham during the late 1960's. The museum close in 1973. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a village on Anglesey overlooking the Menai Strait.
