A BR (WR) station totem sign
at Penmere Platform, Cornwall, 7 September 2021. Opened by the GWR in 1925 on their Truro - Falmouth branch. I don't know whether this is an orginal or replica.

The Vista Plus 200 film could barely cope with the dynamic range needed here, so these look better converted to black and white. Well, either that or I underexposed - maybe I should just let the highlights blow out a bit, film can probably handle that better than underexposure.

There is something incredibly eerie about a deserted Victorian railway station. You feel you are being jostled by ghostly porters and sepulchral stationmasters. But at least the ghost trains run on time...

This is a platform ticket that I purchased from a machine at the British Transport Museum at Clapham during the late 1960's. The museum close in 1973. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a village on Anglesey overlooking the Menai Strait.

I shot this from the taxi cab as we made our way through traffic. The colors of the Vegas billboard were so vivid as the sun hit it just right.
At Queensbury Station many moons ago in 1994! This platform where the path is now, and considering the amount of fill, and the fact that the other platforms are partly buried, who knows, maybe it's still there!
