Platform shoes seem to be back in style again, usually not as high as the 5 inch platforms of the 1970s, but getting higher.
I saw this pair on Poshmark, for a few dollars, so I bit. Size women's 8, hardly even tight on my men's 7 feet.
I find them fun to wear; it is nice to be a little taller. An unexpected feature, the waffle construction platforms are crumbling under the heels. As I step down, the inside of the heels start to collapse and my heels sink into the platform soles. My toes are more elevated thn my heels, like a platform version of the 1970s Earth Shoes. I've come to enjoy the sinking feeling.
