In April, 2009 10 campers from Troop 451 paddled down the Roanoke River, into the Devil's Gut, up Deadwater Creek to the overnight platforms (Beaver Tail and Beaver Lodge). This trip started at the Put-in at Williamston, NC to the Take-out at Jamesville, NC
A polycarbonate sheet was free from the scrap bin at TAP plastics. I cut a few slots, and drilled a few holes.
This print was warping so much that it actually warped my platform. The clamps are Now holding the platform in place
Waiting for the Southbound Redline... lady across the tracks gives us a show that was entertaining yet not very enticing.

Given all the racket happening on other social media platforms, I’m revisiting Flickr as a way to share photo highlights and consume nothing but beauty from others. My first college friend drove 7 hours (each way) for today’s Eagles playoff game. I escorted him and his friends to South Philly on the subway, drank a beer and soaked up the vibe in the tailgate lot, then turned around and headed home to watch the game in peace and quiet. I cherish friendships that can pick up right where they left off, no matter how much time has passed. Go Birds!
