Southbound Platform
This station was one of the original stations built in the late 1970s on the Capital Line. It was a concrete bunker that required you to enter the dark and brutal space under the tracks. A recent renovation moved the entrances above ground at either end of the platform. The exterior has been clad in bright yellow.
Southbound trains can use both platforms for loading during events at the nearby Commonwealth Stadium.

Some of my favourite builds of all time are from the magical and brilliant series of Harry Potter scenes begun by Marcel V . Whilst I am NOWHERE near the level of brilliance of these builders I wanted to create a build in a similar style based on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, having experienced it in theatres and loved every minute. I know a lot of people didn't like the play — I personally loved it as a Potterhead since childhood but I can see why people disliked it based on the script. What are your thoughts on the play? Let me know :)
Metal element under construction at the shipyard MECASOUD
I do not know what it is, but I find these forms frightening.
In fact it is a waveform platform

With an RMT strike on this day causing the independent freight lines by-passing Crewe to be closed, trains were passing through the station. DB Cargo Class 66/0 No. 66013 heads south with 4Z21, the 10:18 Trafford Park – Southampton Western Docks lightly loaded intermodal on 3rd January 2023.

after not finding anything for a few weeks, today i purchased a vintage nelson slat bench. this 72 incher, while not the largest ever produced, matches the largest reproduction that herman miller still produces. from hermanmiller.com:
"'Introduced in 1946 the Nelson platform bench was part of George Nelson's first collection for Herman Miller and still stands as a benchmark of modern design. Like much of Nelson's work, the platform bench has clean, rectilinear lines, reflecting his architectural background and his insistence on what he calls "honest" design--that is, making an honest visual statement about an object's purpose.
As presented in the 1948 Herman Miller furniture catalog, the platform bench "is primarily a high base for deep and shallow cases, but it also serves as a low table for extra seating." The 1955 catalog states that the bench "has proved to be one of the most flexible and useful units in the collection." The bench was reintroduced in 1994.'"
