Arriving with the afternoon train from Boscarne Junction to Bodmin Parkway is preserved Great Western Railway 42XX Class number 4247, seen pulling into the platform at Bodmin General whilst fellow Great Western Railway survivor number 6435 (a 64xx Pannier Tank) is seen opening up the cylinder cocks as it backs away to attach to the rear in order to take the train down to Parkway.

Another finding in the archives. Yes, that was the time when platform shoes were fashionable. I know, it doesn't make me younger, though. So what, they still make me horny and they are part of my collection yet.
This is a new painting called "Platform Shoe". Based off a photograph of the infamous platform shoe that Ferragamo created for Judy Garland in 1938!
The canvas measures 6 x 8" and is mounted against orange cardstock and framed by a 8 x 10 scalloped pink frame that I handpainted!
