When I saw this opportunity, I thought to myself is this really 2013? The crew of the Stanier '8F' are anxious to move the loco on from Carlisle Citadel station to Upperby for servicing, watched by a gent dressed in a flat cap and tweed jacket (and also wearing braces but not in view unfortunately!). This cameo substituted for my lack of a time machine.

another Holga shot from the camera swap weekend. Interestingly enough dumbfunk took a shot of the same subject (different number) with my Leica - it's quite interesting to see how different perspectives on the same thing give totally different results...
It's also interesting how light afftected the Holga. Most of my shots were taken with an overcast sky, then suddenly the sun came out in the late afternoon and as a result my last 2 shots were much more saturated. I did not adjust the colours in this shot - it's the way the plastic camera produced them...

These firemen (fire fighters) are darlings to the ladies. They're very kind not to kick me out of the fire station, even though I was not part of the invited party.
