This is the plastered cove taking shape. It didn't take any less time than the dining room. The plasterer never used Durabond. Why? We'll never know. Of course, this took days to fully dry.

Plastering partly completed for guest room walls facing the back garden.. windows above guest room have been set at the wrong height so they will be lowered by 6"...
for those wondering about security systems.. ALL ground floors doors & windows, (and first floor which can be accessed easily) will be equipped with 8.5 mm security laminated glass designed to take approx 200+ blows from a baseball bat and still prevent entry...
... we are also planning to get another 2 furry security systems of the 100lb Rottie or African Mastiff / Boerboel type :)
This was an interesting renovation because the windmill was just a ruin.
It was originaly built by the Spanish prisoners who were kept at Torre Abbey.
All plastering during the renovation was natuaral lime.
The last bit of plastering for the back bedroom is now complete. A bit more painting, wiring, window sills and a new floor required before we can move in.
