This is the plastered cove taking shape. It didn't take any less time than the dining room. The plasterer never used Durabond. Why? We'll never know. Of course, this took days to fully dry.

for those wondering about security systems.. ALL ground floors doors & windows, (and first floor which can be accessed easily) will be equipped with 8.5 mm security laminated glass designed to take approx 200+ blows from a baseball bat and still prevent entry...
... we are also planning to get another 2 furry security systems of the 100lb Rottie or African Mastiff / Boerboel type :)
