I caught this photo of Pixie trotting by me on the day that Ruby came over to get her picture taken. We get this beautiful sunlight streaming through the trees in our backyard every evening. Pixie always likes the golden rimlight effect that it gives her fur.

As anyone knows, fairies grow the most amazing gardens. In a particular fairy garden in Shadow Glen, the flowers were extra special.
You see, these fairies sprinkled their flowers with their pixie dust ! And it not only gives their flowers the most beautiful glow, but the same flowers in Shadow Glen have been blooming for hundreds of years.
The 100-year annual flower fairy competition was coming up and the fairies in Shadow Glen were preparing their most beautiful for the judging.
One fairy decided the bluebells looked a little sad. As bluebells tend to hang.. and she sprinkled her whole bag on the brightest bloom of the bunch, hoping it would win her the blue ribbon.
The fairies were amazed when they fluttered out to their garden in the morning... for the bluebell that was over-sprinkled turned into a girl !
Her name is Dusty Bluebell. She is sad that she is no longer a flower, but she still sings a song whenever she hears the flutter of pixie wings.

Pixie was created from the Marx Johnny West Pancho pony. Deb turned her head, added haired mane and tail and painted her to a lovely light grey mare. Here is a beautiful Royal Blue Josie with her pony.

Pixies live at Troxy. Not too much to say since they only let me stay for the first few songs :( nonetheless they played Monkey Gone to Heaven and Hey so it's all good for me :)
