Details

Voorne in Stelling - al in 1813 werd de "Stelling van de monden der Maas en van het Haringvliet" gevormd om indringers te weren. Sporen hiervan tref je aan in Oostvoorne, Rockanje, Brielle maar vooral in Hellevoetsluis. Bij dit evenement kan men zien hoe belangrijk Voorne defensief gezien voor Nederland was. "Wie Voorne heeft, heeft Holland", zo werd vroeger gezegd.
