Op 4 september 2011 reden er vele 'blauwe' shirts rond in de Ride for the Roses. PIxels tegen Darmkanker was voor de tweede keer aanwezig om mee te fietsen voor de strijd tegen darmkanker.

De Ride for the Roses is een bijzonder evenement voor KWF kanker bestrijding. Reeds 5 jaar rijden enkele teamleden mee met de Ride for the Roses. Het bijzondere fietsevenement wordt georganiseerd door het KWF. Samen met ruim 10.000 andere fietsers werd er ruim 1.5 miljoen euro bij elkaar gefietst.

Voor Pixels tegen Darmkanker leverde de dag 800 euro op. Het team dat dit jaar weer gegroeid is, kon genieten van een geheel verzorgde dag.

I never really feel like this photo is good enough to post anywhere, but i keep seeing it and it alwayas kind of interests me.

The photo was done with a couple extension tubes on my 18-55mm lens. It's a picture of my eye, but I could actually take a photo of the pixels on my Samsung Galaxy S10 themselves, which was so fascinating because they are fucking tiny. My phone also had a full column of hot pixels that were totally green at that time (and later changed to pink and then purple? Never quite had this happen before), emphasizing the pixel environment.

So I'm posting it here in case someone else like me finds this "mildly interesting" lol. ;)
