First series of pixel sorting pictures. Pixel sorting is about selecting and messing up with pixels to enhance the composition of a photo, adding a glitchy effect.
Father Champagne - Dom Pierre Pérignon, O.S.B., (1639–1715) - a French Benedictine monk of the Abbaye Saint-Pierre d’Hautvillers where he served as cellarer untill the end of his life. When Pérignon died in 1715, as a sign of honor and respect, he was buried in a section of the abbey cemetery traditionally reserved only for abbots.
He's responsible for important contributions to the production and quality of champagne wine in an era when the region's wines were predominantly still red. Popular myths frequently, but erroneously, credit him with the invention of sparkling champagne and for example the first use of corc but it's more the method of blending the grapes prior to sending them to press, pruning, limit the hight of the vines and wine-making using only natural processes, without the addition of foreign substance. The winemaking by the traditional method (méthode Champenoise) only became the dominant style during the 19th century.

Moët & Chandon - a French fine winery and co-owner of the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. One of the world's largest champagne producers and a prominent champagne house. Established in 1743 by Claude Moët, and owns 1,190 hectares (2,900 acres) of vineyards with an anual production of 28 million bottles of champagne.
Dom Pérignon is the most prestigious Champagne, named after Dom Pérignon, a Benedictine monk who was an important quality pioneer for Champagne wine but who, contrary to popular myths, did not discover the Champagne method for making sparkling wines. Mercier owned the original rights to the name Dom Pérignon but gave the brand to Moët et Chandon in 1927.

Mortimer was great friends with Pixel. He was our largest at 3.5 pounds, and she was the tiniest at no more than 1 pound. Mortimer left us way too soon. He crossed the bridge last night and we are all just devastated. I never had the chance to post all the cute photos of him and now he's gone already. :(
I bought this rug / mat for Pixel from the pet shop in hopes that it could provide her a place to sleep on, scratch (and perhaps a day far far away, we could put it in her carrier). She simply hates it. Won't put a paw on it. Here, Terence and I are experimenting whether she'll step on it if we place her food bowl strategically.
