Old pieces of pipe lay dormant at the old Letbourne Grange mental Asylum, Kent.

To protect the cooper from corrosion once in the ground I have wrapped it with a special silicone rubber self-amalgamating tape. It is not sticky except when it comes into contact with itself. Once stuck together the layers fuse into each other in effect making a water-tight sleeve along the length of the pipe.

Jean-Luc decided yesterday that he could hide the pipe for the toilet in the centre of the wall, and that would leave a tiny bit showing at the top, which would be hidden by the ceiling plasterboard. However, this was the result. I have now decided to have the wall plasterboarded to hide the pipes!

The lovely pipework I've had in my arm for the past 3 days. Last infusion was this evening and now it's out. Been interesting side effects which should pass by weekend.
