i like this picture because of all the rusted and damaged metal, and the feeling of age and neglect it gives. i also like how the pipe starts near the bottom left third of the photograph, and then draws the viewer through the rest of the photograph. the vertical and diagonal lines also add depth. this picture could of been better if the sky wasnt as dominant, i feel its a lot of blank space to get lost in. so maybe cropping the image might improve it.

Pipe with bits to join other pipes? Don't know the technical term. Wallsend ship repair yard. Gone now, site under redevelopment.
