Clover Point, Nov 16th, 2013 - Pipeline Protest

Gas pipelines are kept above ground, thought to be safer from earthquake damage that way. Natural gas is the main energy source for Armenia, which has none of its own so imports it from neighboring Russia, and in the future from neighboring Iran.

More than 100 people met on the steps of the state capitol on August 7 before delivering petitions with 5,252 signatures asking the governor to help protect the public from the Bluegrass Pipeline.

The Sooke pipeline carried water from Sooke Lake to Victoria. It was first used in 1915, and the last piece was finally decommissioned in 2009. It's now empty ... I had to open a manhole and check!

I redscaled these by reversing the canister in the TL-3 - the results have been somewhat better than the commercial redscaled film I have bought. I did shoot these at a lower ISO - between 25-100. The lowest ISO shots have come out almost normal!

The group of partner organizations supporting the D12 mobilization just made a big action on saturday 12, 2015 at the heart of the city of Paris, where the clock is ticking down on a global climate deal

The Red Lines action that had thousands of activists, was intended to launch a new wave of what some activists call “climate disobedience,” civil disobedience actions that challenge the fossil fuel industry, often at major infrastructure projects like coal mines or pipelines.

Not about judging the text, it is about planetary red lines and taking the fight forward with regards to the fossil industry that thrives despite major climate calls.
