A depiction of a D&RGW pipe train rests among the many displays in the Chama yards. Trains like these were very common on the NG in the 1950s and 60s, when a gas and oil boom was going on in Farmington, NM.

9.75 x 7.375 x 7.625" Spanish cedar with white glass lined tobacco bin. Drop down front slightly bowed, but it closes. Latch works.

"Citrinitas", the alchemical power plant, currently under construction at Syncretia needs a lot of them! You need to do a lot of processing to purify the water, so it has to cycle through a lot of pipes! I keep having to go back and tweak corners.

This lovely carved pipe belonged to my late maternal grandfather Thomas Edward McAvoy. It is one of a handful of keepsakes I have by which to remember him. The pipe depicts the head of an Indian with a monkey on his back.
