My daughter wanted me to make her a pink and purple fall cards! Talk about a challenge...LOL!!! I couldn't disappoint. So I created these fun cards for her! She wrote out the cutest thank you notes and we mailed them off to wonderful people who made her birthday so special!

My neighbor likes to liven the sidewalk in front of his house with little flowers. It's so pretty!
HBWe!
Another of our azaleas here at the house, taken a late last week. I tried for a shot of this opening bud alongside a fully open blossom, but I didn't have enough depth of field (time 7:08 pm, exposure 1/40 sec., f/5.6, ISO 500), so I cropped out the open blossom; otherwise, little was done to the image. These bushes still are providing nice color, but some others have been losing a lot of petals in our recent rains, and the dogwood blossoms are pretty much history.

Pink Frost (Helleborus x ballardiae) is Snow Love's mate. We all need a mate in this crazy world we live in. This is another Winter Rose from my garden.
Another Pink balloon shot...
I've submitted this to the PPT group for it's "Pink Balloon" week
Appologies that it's from my archive but it's new to this group !
This small bush was established when we bought our house
in 97 but the adjoining maple tree is growing and shading the roses for the past five years we are watching the roses decline
not as full as it was and its branches becoming sparse .
Erika asked me to put some of my luck in dealing with this rose
to give it a better chance ,,so cuttings will be done to try my luck with this plant.
I must agree with her these are powerful smelling flowers it be sad to watch them further fade away.
I got these 4 early this morning at a garage sale, they were marked 10 bucks for the set.....i happily paid that 10 bucks, they are not perfect, a few scratches but not dull from dishwasher use and the 404 bowl looks like a dark pink to me!
There was a bit of rain here last Saturday and it gave a freshness to all the greenery and flowers.
Edit July 10, 2008: Does anyone know the name of this pretty flower?
