I saw this very beautiful and fragile Flower in the Frankfurt Botanical Gardens, right in the middle of Germany. The Frankfurt Botanical Gardens are a small tropical paradise in the center of this bustling city, offering a place of silence and peace. Macro photography once again offers beautiful insights into the fascinating little things we pay so few attention to.

She's done! Halleluja! I wanted her to be my faux Tokidoki, but I'm not sure I have the heart to cut her hair. I'm such a softie, hehe.
Meg is having a pink day - it may end up being a pink week since she kind of loves the scalp she stole off the unfortunate TBL girl.
I don't think she'll keep it, but I do love the look of it on a real Blythe.
Future plans will be to nab an FBL to wear it. :) I need an FBL - I miss my Simply Vanilla quite a bit.
Pinkness against a sea of green. Using an aperture of f3.5 on a 100mm macro lens rendered the background suitably out of focus to make these stunningly delicate flowers stand out more. There's still enough detail in the background though to decipher some more of the flowers and an array of different shades of green. Seen here at the flower garden at Normanby Park, near to Scunthorpe in the UK.
All my images are processed to look their best on my monitor – they may appear slightly darker/lighter on other screens depending on your display settings.

A friend asked me to make some cupcakes for her daughter's 18th birthday, the only brief I got was 'anything girly'. Gave me the ideal opportunity to have my first attempt at making some mini shoes!! I think they've come out really well and I really enjoyed making them. I think next time though I will use coloured paste so they don't all have to be handpainted!!
