Ava's first pigtails. My friend Lisa gave me some of her stash of little hair bands leftover from her girls, so I tried them out. Had I known that this would be my one shot at doing Ava's hair like this for a while, I probably would have dressed her in something cuter and made sure that their was ample light where she was going to be. But at least I took *some* pictures! When I tried to redo these later, she wouldn't let me get past the first one. Since then, I haven't been successful with any attempts.

I was lazy and used ye olde ceiling-bounce flash with a pop-up card. Not the best lighting, but it gets the job done in a pinch.
