Lately i've been looking at Jewelweed's spur. On the Spotted jewelweed the spur is supposed to be parallel to the flower, but this one does a sort of pig-tail.

As my sister was trying to grow out my niece's hair, she kept putting it up into one big pigtail on top of her head. We used to joke that it looked like a fountain sprouting out of her head.
