Hand-made Walnut Oyster card anyone?

The picture frames belonged to my Aunty Florence Hartopp, an accomplished weaver, who worked for Dryad in the 1930's. I have had them for years, I like them very much, they are italian. Maybe one day I will put something in them !!!

On the left is a cross-section of ordinary metal moulding. The c-channel on the left accepts corner clamps and wire hangers, while the picture itself goes under the lip on the right.

On the right is the same moulding with everything but the C-channel cut off.
