I had a circular piece of corrugated cardboard from some product packaging, yes i saved it. I save lots of crazy things. i noticed one of my circular scrapbooking stickers was exactly the same size! What are the odds?I made a picture frame. I used the inner piece of the sicker (pre seperated lol) as a backing piece. I used some other packaging cardboard for seperator and a stand in back. I used a piece of card stock and creative memories double sided tape ... absolutely nothing complicated LOL
I installed a normal hanging wire with D-rings, but I won't use that with my hanging system. Instead I installed an additional pair of D-rings near the top of the frame from which to suspend the picture. If I'd hung this from the lower D-rings the picture would have leaned out away from the wall by several inches.
The back of Geoff's picture frame.
Hardware likes him quite a fair bit better than it likes me, which is why he is able to do things like take every last bit out of the laptop then mount the motherboard directly to the frame. If I tried something like that, I doubt the laptop would last long.
I made this picture frame as a camp counselor. No not a camper a camp counselor. My mom had it on the fridge for a few years and the buttons started falling off as the glue dried out. I am going to probably take all the buttons off and use them for something else.
Adding one kerf cut to the frame after it's mitered makes room for an ordinary steel angle shelf bracket, epoxy it in and it'd like adding rebar to concrete.
