A "do it yourself" digital pictureframe I made from an old IBM Thinkpad 600 laptop. The project was inspired by this guy's version I found online www.tacosntonic.com/pictures/Projects/Digital Picture Frame/

Don't mind the unsightly power cord, this was taken during the initial wall hanging and test.

The frame/laptop is equipped with a USB wifi card and automatically updates the pictures from my flickr account using the screensaver "Slickr". I also installed a VNC program so I can control the laptop remotely if I need to.

If you have an old laptop kicking around thats to slow for anything else I'd suggest making a similar project.

Made upon request for a friend.

Frame measures 8x10.

...actually picture frames! from the dollar store! these were also in the surprise box from Diane! Thanks so much! I love them!!

This corporate recognition award is framed with a basic black frame and triple mat. The black and cream combo has an executive aesthetic while the bright yellow and purple sub mats compliment the playful illustration.

This weeks theme for "Me Again Monday" is "Framed"

Before the theme was even announced I had this idea in my head. I did one like this when I first got photoshop,(In comments) but I didn't have a clue what I was doing really back then. (Some may say I still don't!!!)

Anyway.......

HMAM everyone.

(And probably Slider Sunday as well)

With some work, it turned into a nifty nine-picture frame. I gave this to my son for his birthday.

I was at the library taking an online Biology test and I wasn't feeling well, so I used the restroom. And I saw this.....no picture in a frame. Looks like it had been there a long time.

I would have wished for something more interesting in the frame. Hehe.

My first mosaic in a couple of years, thanks to the mosaic challenge group for getting me motivated again. Funny how the last deadline is the first met. All glass bits in various white and black shades on a wood picture frame base. Not very large, about 10" square.

I dismantled a picture frame and found paper packing leading to an obituary from 1917. Sobering Sunday.
