Street photograph of two people within picture frames. The frames are coloured the rest of the photograph had been converted to monochrome.
The lighting wasn't the greatest earlier today, but it was sufficient :)
This is made up of double-pleat square spread twists with a large gap between them. The gaps are shortened with flattened pleats and the bordering intersections of the flattened pleats are inverted to the back. Pretty cool, I think, but check out the backlighting (completely different motif!): www.flickr.com/photos/brdparker/3365898871/in/set-7215760...

In this article, we are going to take a look at the colourful, vibrant and magical photo below from the Italian Alps, the story of where and how it was taken, how it looks when framed in different ways, and how it was processed.

This is what yesterday's birds were for. A gift for my new great nephew, Eddie Arthur M :) Took me ruddy ages! Not today - today I was just sorting out the backing and putting it in the frame, after I finished work this evening.
Still not feeling right today - I was fine to work, but my insides all feel a bit odd. Starting to wonder if it could have something to do with the out of date anchovies I ate last week... (Clever.)
My grandfather made this frame about a hundred years ago for the portrait my father painted of his brother Jim, killed at Hardecourt 28 August 1918.

I've been very busy today so really didn't have a chance to give this much thought! However, without any manipulated distortion I managed to grab this shot! It's a picture frame in the design of a roll of film with room to display a few photos!

I was saying goodbye to Tim this morning and spotted little Nutjob out of the window. After he'd set off on his bike, I grabbed my camera to get a few shots. She was too fast for me though, so I ended up taking a few photos of the sunlight in the tree outside, and then of the pretty shadows on the wall in the porch. (And then noticed the blue bottle was reflected in one of the photo frames - photo of the day done!)
Good day at work; I was actually (almost) on time for once! Which was handy as I left a bit early with Char to go for drinks with our friends/former colleagues Mags and Tessa. Had a really nice evening (and some delicious fish and chips to accompany my low-alcohol beer) at the Singer Tavern on City Road. Headed home just before 8pm - managed to persuade Tim that it was early enough for him not to need to come and meet me at the station, but he did come out to meet me in our road, bless him.
SO tired once home! Had a very lazy and relaxing evening after that.
I found this giant(1ft tall!) broken bratz alarm clock at Value Village.
I took it apart, put in a photo of my hubby and I, stuck it back together, and voila, super awesome picture frame.

They’ll never be on stage at the Bolshoi.
They can’t press a particularly impressive amount (though more than they used to).
They haven’t run a home run in quite some time and they insist on bouncing nervously when I need to sit still.
But....they do still manage to get a whistle from my husband regularly, so in my book, that means they’re working just like they’re supposed to ;-)

After all these times, this is still one of my favorite places to shoot sunrise.
Tip for shooting here: Get here early, and don't shoot too wide.
