Someone was serious about saving moving costs! I mean..how much does it cost to rent a trailer? =)
He probably found out because when we saw these guys they were at the border on the Ontario side with Ontario plates, which suggests they were turned around by the kindly US customs folks.
The '41 when introduced had a front appearance that was described as "massiveness". This is a great custom to a classic "Art Deco" pickup.

Swapped the "Duncan Designed" humbucker for an actual Duncan humbucker in the neck position, and replaced the Duncan Designed bridge single coil with a Lace Burgandy (case is Lime Green)
Another Stew Mac template for humbucking pickups. Unfortunately, because this one needs to bend to fit the top, I can't add the plywood to this one. I go through these on a fairly regular basis, because the bearing will eventually seize up while I'm making a cut, and I never notice it until the heat from the spinning bearing has melted the plexi. Irritating, but still, they are cheap enough that I don't care much.
