1935 Ford Pickup during ARC Car Show at Old Cowtown Museum. The car show was a fundraiser for the ARC of Sedgwick County.
The Arc of Sedgwick County began in 1953 when parents concerned about services and future opportunities for their children formed The Wichita Association for Retarded Children. This was the first organization in this country to promote the general welfare of all persons with mental retardation, to foster the development of programs on their behalf and to increase the public’s awareness and acceptance.

The owner calls it a Speedwagon, but I haven't been able to verify that that name was used for light trucks. I've found one badged as "Speed Delivery," and I've also found a reference to the half-ton pickup as a model 4-50. Asphalt Angels Fall Car Show, Glory Days Grill, Bowie, MD, October 23, 2010.

For the KB-1 thru KB-5, chrome "wings" were added on the sides of the grill, a wrap-around chrome piece on the front hood, a hood ornament and chrome lettering indicating the model designation below the International nameplate on each side of the hood. For the KB-6 and larger trucks, the only external changes were that the Triple Diamond badge was moved to the top of the grille chrome-work, and the model designations were added to the hood-side chrome trim

Ford Pickup at the Oak Hills High School Car Show. Looking forward to a vacation at my parents place.
