These flowers are the most beautiful in my garden, but they always go unnoticed because they are so tiny that you have to get very close to see them well. One flower is 5mm in diameter.

A make up brush solved my problem today. I found the two lists hard to match up. I found one though.

This used to belong to my grandmother when she was a young lady around 1915. The top is sterling silver.

Good that the spiral binding, which I had pulled out of the old wall calendar by the turn of the year, was still in the trash can. So she was allowed to be the focus of today's MacroMondays. Steel is gray and drab. A blue spot from the left and an orange spot from the right place the wire in the right light.
Gut, dass die Spiralbindung, die ich aus dem alten Wandkalender zum Jahreswechsel gewaltsam herausgerissen hatte, noch im Abfalleimer lag. So durfte sie beim heuten MacroMondays im Mittelpunkt stehen. Stahl ist grau und trist. Ein blauer Spot von links und ein orange Spot von der rechten Seite setzen den Draht in das richtige Licht.

the macromonday theme for today, 6/29, is to match one of 4 colors to one of 4 objects. so the main match is is blue & paper and the secondary matches are: blue & pen and blue & flower, all with blue bokeh. (you knew this had to be mine, right?) .... time to dither a bit :)

I really appreciate any Views, Faves and Comments and I will try to visit your sites in due course. However I still have a bit of catching up to do after a 6 month break from Flickr. Thank you all so much.
Only as I uploaded this image did it occur to me that this is a pencil not a pen and might not count. I did however put it on blue paper, so hopefully it qualifies. This is a 3" pencil and I cropped it a bit to be within the allowed limits. I think it came with a small notebook at some point and I have never used it. I thought it was too pretty. I took it at f/2.8 so everything but the tip is out of focus. Not sure if it was the right choice.
Very small and thin dragonfly had to see let a lone capture. Not many dragonflies to choose from at this time. A bit early in the summer for insects.
For Macro Mondays - Pick Two
This week we had to choose one word from each of two lists. I chose Damaged and Glass.
This is a small part of a glass lampshade that got broken - it is still in my shed while I try to match it as it is one of a pair. The area shown is 2 inches x 1 3/4 inches.

A small and delicate Insect visited to my garden. This was "Zizeeria maha" butterfly (maybe..) , that was about 1cm.
