Sometimes the work order is not what's planned for the Limoilou yard crew. Tonight it will do the job of a roadswitcher and a road switcher did their job earlier that day. Don't ask questions...
Limoilou switcher picking up empty grain cars at the G3 Québec Wharf in downtown Québec.
The Boss and I headed into downtown Grimsby, Ontario to pick up a few things for lunch and in the process passed by a hair cutting emporium. I no longer know what to call them since the names are much more elegant than the options of my youth, when I still had hair about which to be concerned, and categories were simply Barber or Hair Dresser, possibly with the owner’s name as part of the business name, and we were less enlightened and less gender-inclusive. Here, a red-Shirted ‘barber’ is cutting a client’s hair under the illumination of a ring light, while another ‘barber’ in tan is further back. All the while, the passing parade behind me is reflected in the window through which the image was shot. Perhaps I have been watching a few too many street photography videos. Just another Saturday morning in downtown Grimsby. And, of course, Red Rule applies. – JW

Take your pick... a brief history lesson!
Whittlesey: This is the official spelling used by the Whittlesey Town Council, the Royal Mail, and on modern Ordnance Survey maps.
Whittlesea: This spelling is preserved by the Whittlesea Railway Station, which never updated to the "new" spelling when the town did. It is also the spelling used for the famous Whittlesea Straw Bear Festival.
Ancient Spellings: Historical records, including the Domesday Book (1086), record the name as Witesie. Other medieval variations include Witlesig (10th century) and Wittleseia (Latinised).

The tea gardens of Assam are the pride and joy of the country.
Tea is one of the most favoured drinks in the world.
It was brought in by the British rulers and after them, the tradition continues.
This was a warm and sunny day and the tea pluckers get to work to bring us the best.
