Piccadilly &The District line is the busiest of the sub-surface lines and the fifth-busiest line overall on the Underground, with over 208 million passenger journeys recorded in 2011/12.

The section here is between Gloucester Road and Earl's Court stations.

Gloucester Road is in Kensington, west London. The station entrance is located close to the junction of Gloucester Road and Cromwell Road. Close by are the Cromwell Hospital and Baden-Powell House.

Earl's Court station is in both fare zones 1 and 2. The station is located in the Earl's Court area of central London, with the eastern entrance on Earl's Court Road and the western entrance on Warwick Road (both part of A3220). It is a step-free tube station; Earls Court Road entrance provides lift access between street and platform.

Piccadilly Circus after the brand new LED screens were installed late on last year.

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction

At the southwestern side of the Circus, moved after World War II from its original position in the centre, stands the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain, erected in 1892–1893 to commemorate the philanthropic works of Lord Shaftesbury, who was a famous Victorian politician and philanthropist. The subject of the Memorial is the Greek god Anteros and is sometimes given the name The Angel of Christian Charity and is popularly mistaken for Eros.

I spent a happy 60 minutes shooting (from my wheelchair). Nobody sees wheelchairs. I started with some slow shutter speeds.

Under a light drizzle. The right amount of rain to be able to go out to shoot reflections, without discomfort and danger for the camera (thanks weather sealing!).

Cold, rainy night in London... Obviously for photography, it does have the advantage to produce reflections and Piccadilly Circus is a very interesting location for them.

Piccadilly Circus London, Very empty for an August afternoon! The statue is of the Greek God Anteros who over the years has been mistakenly known as the Greek God Eros. London like many other cities has been badly effected by Covid 19,
