The physio has advised me to walk for short distances with one crutch, so managed to get as far as the bridge today!

Jess had physio 3 times a day - this involved 20 minutes on the bi-pap mask followed by positioning and suctioning. She was quite congested following the surgery and there was a risk of aspiration pneumonia developing so they kept a close eye on her lungs. The bi-pap mask helps the lungs to heal and clears the congestion.
She also wore the bi-pap mask overnight for about 7 days post surgery.
The forgotten place we’re visiting this time is a real insiders' tip: Initially this building complex was a luxury hotel having no equal. Later this site became a school of physiotherapy. Apprentices didn’t only learn in this place but lived here too. In the whole building you can still find remnants from this period next to beautiful decay.
After Physio this morning I took my first walk around the city in ages. My leg still is very sore but it was worth the pain!
