Subtley reminding the French about who defeated them in two home games - Physio Aline reminding me that I'm currently no use to anyone.
The waiting room at the hospital at 10pm on a Sunday night. Curt took a fall and broke a hip bone... Things were kind of quiet in Emergency on Sunday night. Curt is ok/ he sat up for a few hourse today, tomorrow he starts walking and then physio.....
Since the physio last week when I discovered I had been trotting around with a dislocated ankle, its been quite sore still.
On a followup visit today, we discovered it had re-dislocated in the other direction (it's a thing called a "cuboid" bone and apparently it is VERY rare for it to do this).
So, we had the fun of putting it back in (again) - won't tell you what i said inside my head....and it wasn't "ouch".
Then more ultrasound and acupuncture followed by yet more strapping.
So, what does one do when one is required to lay still for 10 mins with needles hanging out of ones leg? Well, take pictures with ones mobile of course!
A group of Physio's took part in a park run.
Several from musculoskeletal outpatients physio - Bridgeton, Shettleston, Baillieston, Springburn health centres, Stobhill hospital.
One from Cardio-respiratory physio, one from amputee rehab physio QEUH, one each from Stroke rehab QEUH & GRI.

We battled it out for an incredibly dull 0-0 draw against the Royal, but wilted with the penalties. At least it was a good night out after.

After Physio this morning I took my first walk around the city in ages. My leg still is very sore but it was worth the pain!
