Co-Directors, Monique and Raffaella, began exploring Brazilian culture and dance at different times in their lives but found that their shared creativity and passion enriched their experience, which led them to form Sambamora.
Sambamora works with different groups which is why they are define themselves as a collaborative team rather than only a dance group.
We provide classes, private lessons, costume design and workshops, and dance performances for parties, promotion, club venues, and special events.
We believe that dance should be an empowering and positive experience and we strive to provide this atmosphere for those we work with and those who attend our classes. We try to create a safe space for development, confidence building, open interaction and expression.
We provide outstanding shows and create incredible original costumes. Those we work with value our flexibility, professionalism and easy going demeanors while making their events successful, enjoyable and something to remember.

Three Short Films and a Series of Images
The idea of photographing and documenting the Funeral directors was one that I found fascinating, this was mainly due to the lack of images seen on the subject previously and the little amount I knew about how they operate. I set out with the intention of creating a ‘traditional’ documentary series of images, but at the same time, a body of work that could be easily shaped into which ever output I found fit. Establishing the project concept quite quick was important to me, aiming to give myself the maximum amount of time in which to research and question funeral customs. Using books that highlighted British funeral rituals and articles that display social media’s influence on the documentation of wakes allowed me to fully inform my work.
During my time documenting those in the funeral industry I was able to photograph multiple funerals, pallbearers, crematorium workers, gravediggers and the deceased. I was fortunate to be able to photograph the preparation for a funeral, allowing me to see and capture the most sensitive moments. Whilst continuing to photograph the funeral directors and local services I was continually asking questions, always wanting to know more and find out the reasoning why things were done in such a way. This body of work has allowed me to give a compelling insight into the funeral industry, revealing the options we have after a death and the options most of us choose. Interviewing those who desire to work alongside death has hopefully provided a better explanation of why they are interested and intrigued by death, exploring their personal understandings of bereavement and the afterlife.

and universal vibrations in several schools but also working on

to be Jerry Brown campaigned at Carijama 1998 in Mosswood Park
and promised to put Oakland on the map for ethnic and multicultural
arts.
The current Mayor Ron Dellums needs to get more youth into after
school festival arts programs with the community checking out their work
in a new Carnival parade.
The 2008 season will be our 17th year of presenting the Pirates of Emerson, a Halloween Adventure. We are completely unlike the traditional haunted house; we have taken this to a much, much higher level. At our Dark Adventure, we have created an environment where you are actually in the scenes. We have made extensive use of special effects, robotics, animation and interaction. While we do have the obligatory scream in your face areas - they are relatively small.
What started out as a small group of friends with a few props in a backyard has grown into a major commercial attraction covering almost a 5 acres.
As always, parking is free!
Some of the animation may be a bit intense for those of an impressionable age and we do not recommend our attraction for those under 13 years old. We do not use blood and guts for effect, (well not very much), but after experiencing the Adventure you will never miss them. This is an extremely scary event.
We can't tell you when the lines will be the shortest, but historically the first part of the season will be slower and weekdays are slower than weekends.
No matter who you know, or say you know, no one will be allowed preference in line or gain early admittance. First come first served!
(well, except those who purchase tickets on line, or those with a Speed Pass tickets, or those...)

Group of people from Rajasdhan moved to chennai for their life and living. They do idols with Plaster of Paris. They make small to large idols of Ganesha, Murugan, Saibaba, Krishna and so on. There are around 40 families settled in Manali, Chennai. It is difficult to document their activities in a short time I spend with them. But, I could manage to get some shots.
Bill Wantland, a.k.a. Moondog, is a local celebrity on Fremont Street and elsewhere around Las Vegas.
A former pro wrestler and survivor of a stroke, Moondog can be seen around town in his wheelchair and his Uncle Sam outfit.

A Beautiful Photo Tribute to a Beautiful Aircraft
If you are looking for a detailed account on the engineering and history of the De Havilland DH-106, then read Kev Darling's book. If you are looking for a photographic tribute to a beautiful and revolutionary aircraft, this book is for you.
By today's standards, the black-and-white photos may seem quaint. Then again, high-resolution color digital photography and reproduction were still a half-century away. In my mind, however, the old photographs add to the charm of this fine book. And what beautiful photos they are - this new shape in the sky was captured from some unique angles, showing off the aircraft's graceful lines to very good effect.
Each photo is accompanied by a caption that captures the majesty of the novelty of jet flight beautifully. Most notable are the window views, which are breath-taking. Some of them were taken while the plane was at high altitude, itself very much a novelty in 1953, when the book was published. It is also important to remember that these photos are extremely rare, as a number of these aircraft were lost in accidents (both De Havilland and BOAC paid a heavy price for being pioneers) or scrapped, none surviving beyond 1955, with the exception of the nose section of one aircraft. (An Air France Comet 1A, painted in BOAC colors, survives.)
This is as much a photographic art book as aviation title - the pictures are that good. One cannot but help but smile while looking at the last picture, showing a gleaming BOAC Comet at Khartoum, flanked by two men riding dromedary camels.
Taken in Baguio, Burham park......when you visited baguio you will always have the chance to visit this park since its on the center of the city.
Burham park is where you can see all walks of life.
The man-made swamp is not as beautiful as you can imagine, as you can see it's green......most likely its full of algae, that time i just thought what if they put hundred's of janitor fish in here, then probably it will clean the waters.....LOL
Ugly Duckling? its only a wierd notion of mine, to describe this duck-look a like canoe which most people love to paddle just to enjoy the days in Burham park.
