Twenty Army National Guardsmen from nine states and Puerto Rico participate in the 12 mile ruck march of the Best Warrior Competition (BWC), Region III phase, held at The Citadel, in Charleston, South Carolina, April 23, 2025. The Region III BWC 2025 is hosted by the South Carolina National Guard from April 21 through April 26. The BWC is open to all National Guard enlisted Soldiers who qualified through their state. During the regional phase [or series], competitors must negotiate various military challenges to test individual combat skills and doctrinal knowledge. On the third day of the Region III BWC 2025, Soldiers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia completed the 12 mile ruck march, the GAFPB swim and weapons and CBRNE lanes. This is a scan of phase 5, that I used to add-in shadows with colored pencil (Faber-Castell Polychromos). It's 4x6", a nicer size for checking out additions. I could have also done this with wetmedia acetate, laying it over the painting and painting additions on the acetate. But to me, the colored pencil method is simpler and quicker.

On 6 March 2018, the UN CC:Learn global partners met in Geneva, Switzerland for the 8th UN CC:Learn Steering Group Meeting. Partners from FAO, ILO, IOM, UN Environment, UNECA, UNESCO, UNFCCC, UNITAR, UNSSC, UNU, WFP, WTO participated to discuss the arrangements for the 2017-2020 phase of UN CC:Learn, launched on September 2017.
The meeting focused on UN CC:Learn’s key messages and impact. New activities to promote global climate change literacy were also discussed, including the expansion of the e-learning platform with additional features, languages and products, as well as up-scaling of UN CC:Learn flagship initiatives.

Lunar phases are an interesting market anomaly
Best time to buy is around the new moon and best time to sell is around the full moon.
Cause of this effect? Most of the literature claims the cause of the effect is "depressed mood at full moon"
Maybe from an evolutionary perspective fear is at its peak when the night sky is darkest?
RSI might be able to capture similar overbought/oversold conditions without being rigid on the exact timing.

Research on this effect in the Indian markets indicates that
the effect is significant for nifty/energy but not statistically significant for banks/realty/finance. Apparently tech/pharma weren't tested in this paper.
