This fresco is an order from CGSP to cover up the illegal graffitis that seemed to always come back when removed.
It is a city skyline with flashy red characters symbolizing the free expression of the people.
The artist David Donceel alias Phase is one of the first street artist in Belgium since he’s practicing his art from 1986. He describe himself has “an oldschool graffitiwriter from Ghent”. After some trouble with justice, he decided to go legal with his work.

been mulling it for awhile. was blessed with a bit of a work reprieve for a couple days and took the plunge.

phase 2 may have to wait until after spring, or whenever the next work slowdown comes.

Willie Nelson
I think this was my first exposure to the music of Willie Nelson My roomie was a campus radio DJ and they got a lot of free albums they never wanted to play.
"On Phases And Stages, Nelson describes a separation, first from the woman's point of view (side one), then from the man's (side two). Both are true to the milieu in which Nelson works: The woman runs away, finds another, but still wonders; the man loses himself in self-pity and then assumes the facade of honky-tonk bravado. Nelson can make a banal line like "ironing and crying, crying and ironing" say much more than it does on the surface. He seems to understand an unloved woman better than any dozen articles from Ms.: "If guilt is the question/Then truth is the answer/I've been lyin' to me all along." His deceptively simple lyrics fit whole chapters into single lines: "Sister's comin' home/Momma's gonna let her sleep the whole day long/Mirror's gonna tell her/Just how long she's been gone." And when "sister" goes back to the corner beer joint, "her jeans fit a little bit tighter than they did before."
The fact that Nelson can fashion a believable scenario with such sparseness is a tribute to his ability to turn experience into good music. Phases And Stages, his best work to date, now seems to call out for the filmmaker who can turn good music into good cinema."

The weight of this unit is significant, I'm pretty sure that if the phaser bit fails, a pistol whip with this unit would hurt like crazy

This church was designed and built in phases.
The first phase, this building, was the original sanctuary. It comprised four arches (now has only three), which look like they are close, but smaller, cousins to the dome on the much larger First Christian Church in OKC that was being constructed at the same time. Each arch was capped by a skylight to let in natural light.
When the congregation expanded, the second phase, a much larger sanctuary in the dome style, was completed. I'm not sure if my grandfather designed this addition, but it certainly compliments the original building well.
This building is now used as a meeting room for the church. The skylights were covered in the 70's or 80's, making the room much darker than it originally appeared.
