Mientras que los fabricantes tradicionales parecen centrados en una batalla por ver qué terminal ofrece el mejor diseño, los fabricantes de smartphones y phablets chinos son mucho más pragmáticos e investigan nuevas formas para ganarse el favor de los usuarios.
A juzgar por los últimos lanzamientos que nos llegan desde el lejano oriente, uno de los caminos que parecen haber tomado las marcas de smartphones y tablets chinas es la duración de las baterías.
A modo de ejemplo, podemos tomar el nuevo phablet que ha presentado Ulefone, el Ulefone Power.
Su nombre ya deja poco lugar a la imaginación y destaca la estrategia de la compañía por lanzar una serie de productos con una gran capacidad de batería como principal reclamo.
A nivel estético, el Ulefone Power recuerda a los modelos anteriores de la marca, con la utilización de un chasis de aluminio que, además de aportar rigidez estructural al dispositivo, sirve como nexo de unión entre los redondeados bordes de la pantalla y la carcasa trasera.
El Ulefone Power cuenta con una pantalla IPS de 5,5 pulgadas con resolución Full HD (1.920 x 1.080 píxeles), fabricada con cristal Gorilla Glass 3 a la que se le ha aplicado la tecnología 2.5D de Corning para obtener bordes redondeados.
Para este nuevo phablet chino con gran capacidad de batería, Ulefone ha optado por el procesador MTK6753 de ocho núcleos a una frecuencia de 1.3 GHz, apoyada por 3 GB de memoria RAM y una capacidad de 16 GB de almacenamiento interno ampliable con una tarjeta microSD de hasta 128 GB.
El sistema operativo utilizado en el Ulefone Power es Android 5.1 Lollipop, aunque no se descarta que se pueda actualizar en un futuro ya que Ulefone, como ya se ha hecho anteriormente en otros modelos de la maca.
Las cámaras del -Ulefone Power constan de un sensor OV5648 de 5 megapíxeles en su parte delantera, mientras que la cámara trasera es una Sony IMX 214 de 13 megapíxeles con autofocus, doble flash y apertura f/1,8.
Además, incluye un botón físico en uno de los laterales que cumple la doble función de disparador para la cámara y para grabar la voz, mientras que en su parte trasera encontrarás un lector de huella dactilar.
El Ulefone Power es una clara apuesta por phablets chinas con una mayor capacidad de batería que permite autonomías de hasta 4 días de uso sin recargarlos.
En cuanto a conectividad, el Ulefone Power viene equipado con todo lo que puedas necesitar: conectividad 4G/LTE y Dual SIM, siendo una SIM normal y otra una micro SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS y puerto de infrarrojos para utilizar el terminal como mando a distancia para tu TV, equipo de música, etc.
Pero lo que más destaca del Ulefone Power es su batería de 6.050 mAh fabricada por Sony, lo cual le otorga una autonomía de hasta 4 días de uso sin necesidad de recargarlo.
El Ulefone Power es compatible con la carga rápida con la cual, en tan solo 30 minutos de carga, obtendrá la energía necesaria para utilizar el teléfono durante todo un día.
