Despite clear blue skies until Water Orton area wasn't expecting the heavy rain that came when here at Walmsley on the start of the Sutton Park line (first time I've done or found any shot on this line). I was here to get a shot of good friend Jim Mosley on 66726 taking 47812/47815 from Eastleigh to Crewe (Barrow Hill on Thursday) waited another 45 minutes for the 37's on the Berkley flask and 60074 on 6E08 Wolves - Imm metals train. On Friday, PG&E replaced a transformer on our street. This presented an opportunity to see the work.

Les Ross owned, WCRC operated 86259 passing Atherstone station, Saturday 20th September 2025 with 1Z87 1418 Carlisle - London Euston via Settle and Carlisle railway, Cumbrian Mountain Express. A bit of a flutter with 1M17 bearing down (as can be seen at the rear of 1Z87) with 1Z87 doing 60mph and 1M17 100mph and all looking tight as the signals were passed from Grendon.
