Stars over Coleorton, Leicestershire during Perseids meteor shower. Tuesday 12th/Wednesday 13th August 2013
DCR 56's 56311/56301 collecting 56038 from Kingsbury EMR scrap yard for over haul to mainline use. 56032 should have been collected as well, but was causing movement problems so had to be left on this day. To get to the class 56's former GIF 37's 37880/37884 had to be shunted out and back into Kingsbury EMR scrap metal merchants. Here being shunted back into Kingsbury EMR sidings. The BBC weather had the Midlands area to be clear and sunny so off for railway photography and 56087 on the Sinfin tanks, when it wasn't going to be as said headed home with it absolutly hammering it down most of the way home. Just before getting home the sky was very different with slight sun and really orange sky (despite the rain clouds) At Coleorton just up from where I live a cracking rainbow appeared. Coleorton. My first PG, was a birthday present from my best friends. Been building this from last year, only to complete all the decals last night and flat coated this morning.
