The final Brush refurbished GBRF scotrail sleeper class 73/9 73971 under took a mileage accumilation run and class 66 coupling test at Bardon Hill on Monday 7th November 2016. 73971 was booked to run 0Z73 1115 Loughborough Brush - Bardon Hill via Knighton jn but then ran to Derby and 0Z73 1230 Derby - Bardon Hill via Burton/Moira/Coalville. 73971 after arriving at Bardon Hill. First class 73 on the Leicester to Burton branch/to Bardon hill for 20 years.
