The NCS: Mobile Anti-Space-Debris Exo-Frame. [M.A.S.D.E.F.] or 'Mastiff' - as it's called in the outer rim.

At once a useful tool for removing pesky asteroids from your LL-Class Starship's path, and a powerful defensive suit in those tense extra-terrestrial encounters! The M.A.S.D.E.F. if an all-in-one powerful extension of any human crew member.

Also available in 'Loader' Format- Coming Soon!

The HBC-A1 was a heavy blaster carbine known for its high power and outstanding accuracy. It was the Gor'Ed Arms contender for the main weapon of the Imperial Stormtroopers. Considering cost of manufacture and weight, Emperor Palpatine personally decided against it and finally opted for the BlasTech E-11. Rumour in the Imperial Palace has it though that Palpatine deliberately decided against the Gor'Ed Arms gun because of his anti-non-human stance. The few guns produced usually found their way into rebel hands.

Well, the Empire doesn't consider a small one-man fighter to be any threat, or they'd have a tighter defense. An analysis of the plans provided by Princess Leia has demonstrated a weakness in the battle station. But the approach will not be easy. You are required to maneuver straight down this trench and skim the surface to this point. The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system. A precise hit will start a chain reaction which should destroy the station. Only a precise hit will set off a chain reaction. The shaft is ray-shielded, so you'll have to use proton torpedoes.

Tons of people, always a lot of fun!

Being denied in the bid for the main weapon of the Imperial Stormtroopers was only the opening shot in a war the Empire intended to wage against the Iridonian company Gor'Ed Arms. Soon after, its accounts were frozen and many members of the board of directors as well as designers, technicians and engineers were detained - usually on charges of treason. But not all personnel were caught. Many were forewarned and were able to flee. Some were able to save plans for weapons. Some even managed to dismantle manufacturing equipment... And subsequently, they mostly found their way to the Rebel Alliance. This time, though, it was deliberate (unlike the few HBC-A1s that found their way to the rebels). The Gor'Ed people were now out for revenge on an empire bent on destroying them. And the first thing they did after finding a new home with the Rebel Alliance was to produce the BR-A2. A blaster rifle that was the E11's superior in every aspect - except weight. It was more accurate, more powerful, had more capacity. Downsides were the weight and a much reduced manoeuvrablity. Still, most rebel fighters loved their new weapon. And with rising casualties among the Stormtroopers, the Empire soon came to regret it's decision to destroy Gor'Ed Arms.

Since everyone and their dog seems to be trying Apocalust's www.flickr.com/people/apocalust/ dog bot style, I though why not, looks like fun. Probably some design variations with this model and it is not really as smooth looking as I would have liked, but a fun build none the less.

A small, fast and not to mention incredibly agile fighter utilized by the Northern Sector. It's specialized to dogfighting with it's small dual-blasters and double homing missile pods. It's one drawback is that is has to be carrier-based due to the limited amount of missiles it can carry (12) and the relatively bad fuel economy of the craft.

I BUILT! :D

This build was almost entirely based around thouse 'wing' pieces in the new SP3 Vic Viper. It was a quick, fast and very fun build. Also, this thing is pretty damn swooshy, you just want to wave it around all day and make space-ship sounds. :3

Oh and yeah, new background, I just used the flash of the cam on an A4 sheet of paper (most likely just temporary). Turned out surprisingly well. I'm also experimenting a bit with posing (hence the stand).

***************** probably should have written all this first time around *************

I was soundly beaten by the gracious & awesome Jack M. from Automaton Pictures' pilot Alterf Skendiv but not before shooting his D-Wing to SMITHERINES! Now he'll have to build another ship and i'm using BRAIN CONTROL to make him create a T-Wing! MUAHAHAHAHAH! Thanks for a great contest to both JM/AP/AS and my first opponent Clone Emperor for a great contest!

Also a big THANKS! to VolumeX for the photography tips, aside from the space wrinkles and awesome lens flare i think these are much better than the ones I took for the first round.

here's the rest of the pictures I never got around to posting, I'm still really happy with this ship especially considering I basically built it in one night. =-D

Zippity Aviary's D-Wing Starfighter (ZeeAye Shipyards DWYCK-92 Scout/Patrol Fighter)

Here's where you put the story when you write it... getting tight on time lemme post this then write my nonsense and edit this! thought Zippity...

The message was garbled but ZeeAye knew what he had to do. First things first he would collect the necessary supplies and pay a visit to his favorite spice den, hopefully Tahsoka Ano was there, he kind of had a thing for her. Years ago Zippity had a contract that required a special ship. Dr. Aviary built the DWYCK with misdirection in mind... at first glance it seemed to have just two small blasters in the nose, about right for anyone who might have business in the Outer Rim. But Zippity wasn't just anyone...

The ship was powered by a new modification of the standard Girodyne sublight engines he'd ordered for so many of his commissioned ships, but he had a new wrinkle on the old workhorse. By redirecting the powerflow as only Doc Zip could he was able to double the power while maintaining his full cruising range and actually increased maneuverability. This was standard fare for Z.A., the real stroke of genius proved to be a completely new type of hyperdrive that could get point SIX past light speed! Of course Zippity didn't advertise that. He painted it brightly to affect the look of a cruising yacht and disguised the real weapons load... Docking port stabilizers? who needs em! Zippity disguised a pair of rapid fire laser canons where similar craft might have had docking clamps... he wasn't making friends or inspecting ships... he was there for The Job and to get out. He didn't think anyone would like what they got if they got in his way. A full salvo of Zippity Industries top of the line homing missles with multipurpose programmable warheads would easily take out a SUPER Star Destroyer.

Even though it was just made for a contract it soon became one of Zippity's favorite ship, almost as synonymous with his arrival as sabotage, meyhem and destruction.

Poor Alterf Skendif probably knew that the Gang Starr Guild wanted him out of business... he thought he could afford to deal with their annoyance, he was doing well... he couldn't know he was just a mark to the one man you couldn't afford to have coming for you. Zippity could feel the credits in his pouch already as he made his way through hyperspace Nice & Smooth

Thanks to Jack/Alterf/Automaton for the awesome competition and kind words this round!

I love this picture since it gives a little sense of the scope of the people at the race, and even at that this is still just a fraction. (Also, as my friend put it, it shows "curves visible from orbit," haha!)

For this year's High Heel Race my friend and I felt a little light political humor was appropriate, so I give you the United States Space Force!

This was intended to be a test shot for something bigger, but I rather like how this turned out.

As a target shooter and a photographer, I get confused sometimes when friends invite me out for "shooting".

Once a Neolithic Technologies MX-3000 Airspeeder, 'Steve' has since become something completely different. It has been space-proof'd, fitted with weapons, stronger engines, extra armor-plates and a few different kinds of sensors. It's looks have also seen a major overhaul since Martin first found it as a wreck on Archtreida.

Now bears twin energy-lance cannons. Which are great for dealing pin-point damage to small craft, and two hidden dual-hyrchenian-cannons, which act just like EMP-blasts, but with a little bit more kinetic energy added in the mix and a much longer range. They're cheaper to obtain and repair too, if you know the right place. 'Steve' is also fitted with a hyperjump-engine, but it should only be used in true emergencies, since older devices of that size have a tendency to catapult the ship into some random space of the universe. Martin usually 'hypersurfs' on the slipstream of larger vessels as they jump. The regular engines do quite a good job of covering vast distances rather quickly as well though.

But most of Martin's income comes from the Intergalactic-crate(TM) sized spaces in the ship's pylons, where said crates can be very effectively hidden in plain sight.

My entry for the Space Pirates' A Smuggler's Life For Me-Contest. And also my first larger build in quite a while. That's why I like contests like that, they always give me a building-kick. :)

.

Now about the build, this was FUN to build. It just about completely exhausted what I had left of the more sophisticated parts plus most of my black parts and it took a long time to put together, with many technical problems popping up along the way, but I love the result. I just love it, its swooshability and it's quite abundant 'play-features'. The basic construction of it (the skeleton if you will) was also something new for me, the skeleton is triangular and separated into two halves, one halve with studs facing the front, the other half with studs facing the back. It was really nice to work with these, for me new, techniques. I consider this to be my best minifig-scale ship so far.

The photography on the other hand... Yeah, flash-photography turns out to not work just quite so well on larger builds containing a lot of black... I had to take many photos to turn up with some semi-decent ones.

(Excuses to Ironsniper. I had to re-upload the picture and your comment was lost in the process.)
