The chest Arc Reactor is held on using eight Lego magnets, so no velcro or tape included.

So I could write a huge backstory here about how these buggers are like mysterious and attack in swarms and stuff, or I could, like... not.
So yeah, this was built because I had to build something spacey and swooshy again (the last time was in September 2010 or something). It started out with a triangular engine module on which I wanted to hang a cockpit. That didn't work out at all though (I tried all day, different designs and everything, it all looked or was rubbish), so in the end I just sat down, created some robot-like brainthing with cannons, and violá, done. I personally find it to be very swooshy and I'm quite fond of it. :)

So I have been busy with my study lately which is why I didn't post anything for a long time.
This model features an engine which can be removed, opening hatches, suspension (though it doesn't work that well because of a lack of space) and Brickmania Tracklinks. Furthermore it is 11 studs wide. I am really proud of this! I studied a lot of blueprints for this though I didn't measure any dimensions while building.
Please let me know what you think, I'm really curious for your opinions. Also I will post a breakdown of the front of the turret.

Our mission was to man the guns. Easy. No. The CIS had found out our plan and had made it difficult. The ship was covered in IG-86 Sentinel Droids. We took care of most of them, but it wasn't easy.
"Soldier, you take those guns, I'll take this one. You, keep watch."
Haha, saved myself the trouble of writing a whole lot of backstory in this description by putting it in the photo!
Hopefully this clears up some of the ambiguities of shape; this has been one of my more asymmetrical and involved ships despite its small size.

But another Convention down, and while we missed a lot of friends, we made lots of new ones! Caleb, Steve, Benjamin, Miach, Kodi, and all the Military guys!

For round one of my match with Felix the Cat . The theme was to build a mech/robot, so I decided to make one on wheels. The design was somewhat based off of two of my past MOCs, Voyager and Scavenge (you can tell the similarities by the unique names).
This was a really fun build for me, I haven't made a biped on wheels in a long time, not to mention that I got to use some designs that I was looking forward to incorporating in my MOCs.

I've had this scene planned for quite a while now, took me a midnight powerbuild to finally realize it. sorry for the bad lighting, it's night here, I may reshoot tomorrow, if I find out how I can replace photos that is...
On the construction: Those flames were astoundingly hard to keep in place, but I guess it payed off. :)
The one thing that still bugs me is that I don't have a 3x3 trans-neon-orange disc, which would make the whole thing look much better by concealing the structure (and a 4x4 is too big...) do the 3x3 discs even come in trans-neon-orange?

Well, the Empire doesn't consider a small one-man fighter to be any threat, or they'd have a tighter defense. An analysis of the plans provided by Princess Leia has demonstrated a weakness in the battle station. But the approach will not be easy. You are required to maneuver straight down this trench and skim the surface to this point. The target area is only two meters wide. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system. A precise hit will start a chain reaction which should destroy the station. Only a precise hit will set off a chain reaction. The shaft is ray-shielded, so you'll have to use proton torpedoes.

......I've been at the coast for the last few days, with spotty internet and no phone reception.....getting some work done with my latest muse.
So....a little change from the Inspiration shots you've come to expect....This photo is a little moment in the life with another source of inspiration....my friends.
Anna is my latest partner in art crime and she's fucking hilarious. We've spent the last few days shooting photos and tampon bullets from sunrise to sunset. We decided we needed some guns so we went to a toystore. She got a pistol. I got two.
Pretty much whenever we've had any fights in the last few days, we've resorted to shooting each other in the face. That's the best way to repair a friendship. Ever.
And then we went onto the internet and found pictures of girls who have broken our hearts, and shot them in their pretty little skulls.
Yesterday the weather was gorgeous, which was upsetting when we were trying to shoot nudies under cloud cover....and there were people all around intruding on our shots....They were pretty amused by our little gunfight.

The aptly named heavy blaster pistol Thug from Drelf Industries found its clientele right from the start. It featured a sturdy - if blocky - body, a small handguard for added stability and a foldable stock for even more stability. Both of these were sorely needed as testers - and later the owners - of the Thug commented that it kicked like a raging tauntaun. Despite this, the Thug was wildly popular with - well - thugs from Coruscant to Nar Shadaa, from the Core to the Outer Rim.

At the High Heel Race a woman stopped me for a picture and I fell into one of my usual poses and she said, "No, I want to get one that shows that booty!" (Which was fun because nobody else asked for that all night!) So I spun around and gave her a little over the shoulder look and she gave me a tentative, "Yeah..."
Then I looked at her and said, "Ohh, *I* know the pose you want. You want the spread-legs, butt-AND-boobs pose with the vacant bimbo expression, right?" Her face lit up so I tried something like this. I've no idea how that photo turned out for her, but I made sure to get a picture of that pose to share here and tell the story! :)
