Mahogany wood structure with high relief decoration, gold carving, gold inlays and pearls. The wood surface is finely sanded to the highest standards and polished with bee’s wax.
The vehicle icon can be personalized. There is a wide list of icons available to choose from, including various types of horses, camels, wagons and carriages.
The level of battery in the device can be controlled by checking a simple gauge with a colour scale. Green means a full battery, when the gauge hits red, it’s time to charge your device.
The network coverage is presented in the form of four bars located in the upper right corner.
The North position is indicated by a compass with inlays of gold, crystals and a ruby.

Yes. This is my work laptop. Covered the lid with a skin and then covered that with Halloween stickers. The 3 stickers on the left are felt so they add a nice extra dimension.

This commissioned Goldbug was painted primarily with House of Colors "gold" (which caused me some major problems with dry time) i debated the "gold" I would paint him for a while, but realized nothing would say "goldbug" more than actual metallic gold. No real modifications done to him, other than the custom head (guess who it is) Gloss coated with Alclad's aqua clear coat. Plate left blank for customer personalization.

Instructed to build armored suits, Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko tells Justin Hammer, "Drone better". But in secret, Vanko further develops the prototype Hammer Drone as a personalized armored suit complete with energy whips to exact his revenge on Tony Stark's Iron Man.
The Hammer Drone was really just a background piece in "Iron Man 2". We saw some video of a very unsuccessful test, and there's a warehouse of them when Vanko joins forces with Hammer. But all the action shots are handled by the upgraded drones (Army, Air Force, etc.). This figure is as close as we'll get to a movie version of Whiplash's armor (just needs a new head, really), and when my kid and I play, this is him.
The photo is another of my "life on the road" phone camera shots. No special lighting, shot in the hotel workout room, with minor effects on the eyes and arc reactor. Waking up early pays off.
This is a weekly pill organizer I made recently for a client through my shop on Etsy.
All the parts were cut from a single slab of cherry which was purchased as a leftover from a much larger project. The outside of the pillbox was finished with several coats of clear spray enamel, but the inside of each compartment was left unfinished to minimize possible chemical reactions with the medications. The lettering was woodburned prior to lacquering the piece.
This detail shot shows a couple of the lids, which are kept in place inside of sliding tracks. When closed, the lids are secured using rare earth magnets, so the compartments won't accidentally open during travel.
I've made several of these in cherry, white oak, and mahogany over the years. I think the grain on this one was one of the nicest so far. Please see the adjacent photo for an overall shot of the project.
