Las playas de Roquetas de Mar volvieron a llenarse de miles de personas para celebrar las tradicionales Moragas, cita que se festeja cada 29 de diciembre y que consiste en pasar un dÃa con amigos y familiares en la playa, hacer una hoguera, y degustar carne y, sobre todo, pescado. Es una tradición que afianza el vÃnculo del municipio con el mar.
Esta vez, debido al viento de levante, las playas han estado ligeramente menos concurridas que en otras ediciones. Muchos grupos de amigos han decidido reunirse en viviendas particulares y hacer Las Moragas en casa. El ambiente que se ha respirado ha sido festivo y familiar, y los visitantes han podido comprobar la hospitalidad roquetera, ya que simplemente con pasear por la arena los diferentes grupos de amigos y peñas te ofrecÃan probar los productos que salÃan de su barbacoa.
Sardinas, jureles, salmonetes, brecas, atunes, gambas, chorizo, morcilla, lomo, migas, paella…, son algunos de los alimentos estrella de este dÃa. Al caer la tarde y cuando las ascuas se calman, la tradición manda que entre los grupos de amigos y peñas se tiznen la cara unos a otros con cenizas. Es el sÃntoma inequÃvoco de que se ha disfrutado de un buen dÃa de Moragas. También es habitual que se despida el dÃa cantando villancicos.
Cuando empieza a asomar la noche la atención se centra en la explanada del Real Club Náutico de Roquetas de Mar, lugar en el que continúa la fiesta con las actuaciones musicales. Este año hicieron disfrutar al público con su música las orquestas Andalus y Azul Mediterráneo. Miles de personas se dieron cita en este punto para continuar con la fiesta.

Over a period of 3 days Lawilink was ask to on behalf of amnesty international to compile a series of images, surrounding persons with Albinism. Lawilink has been working with persons with albinism for over a year and the contacts with the local authorities and friends we made over that time helped a great deal. Lawilink had a team of 4 Eddah (producer), Ernest(director), Charlene (camera tech) & Zac(photographer/driver) the documentary video we filmed will be loaded soon but for now here are some stories and images. Due to discrimination and violence, we have decided not to add the locations of the shoots.

Martha chipeso is 21 years old, Martha left school in standard 2 after suffering discrimination & abuse from other students.
Alfred chigalu is 17, Alfred is the last born in the family of 4 children the only one born with albinism. Alfred left school in standard 1 because his class mates were mocking him.
Annie Alfred is 10 years in standard 3 at primary school. She lives with both of her parents in bangwe when she grows up she wants to be a nurse. Annie has friends both at school and at home they all love her.
Mercy pangani is 8 years old while Daniel is 6 years old, they are both in standard 1 at primary school. Mercy is the first born Daniel is the second born in a family of 4 children.
Harry and Harrison were born twins with albinism, 9 years of age they were both in standard 1 at school. Robbers broke into their house and kidnapped harry on the 18th February 2016 in the house there was the mother and the three children and the kidnappers injured the mother because the mother was trying to protect harry
Brighton Rashid Wende Wende was 32 years old living with his family, Brighton was a business man, Brighton had seven children and two wives both of the wives have gone back to their parent’s homes.

Rund 2000 Personen folgten einem Aufruf des NPD-Kreispolitikers Stefan Hartung zu einer rassistischen Kundgebung unter dem Motto „Heimat bewahren - Überfremdung und deren Auswirkungen verhindern“ nach Aue, darunter die Wählervereinigung Pro Chemnitz und Neonazis des III. Wegs. Auch der wegen Volksverhetzung verurteilte Antisemit und Reichsbürger Christian Bärthel aus Ronneburg, der sich selbst als "Prediger" und "Evangelist" inszeniert, konnte unter den Teilnehmenden ausgemacht werden.
Hintergrund der Veranstaltung ist ein mutmaßlich unter Asylbewerbern eskalierter Konflikt, zu dem es bei einer Weihnachtsfeier für Bedürftige im Pfarrhaus der Auer St.-Nicolai-Kirchgemeinde gekommen war. Ein ehrenamtlicher Helfer wurde hierbei verletzt und musste im Krankenhaus notversorgt werden. Die Veranstaltung instrumentalisierte die Vorkommnisse, um das Asylrecht generell in Frage zu stellen.
Neben Stefan Hartung selbst, der versuchte, eine moderate Figur abzugeben, trat der neonazistische Anwalt Martin Kohlmann auf, der als Kopf von Pro Chemnitz maßgeblich für die Reihe an rassistischen Demonstrationen 2018 in Chemnitz verantwortlich war. Am 18. März 2018 war Kohlmann auch einer der Hauptredner einer neonazistischen Veranstaltung in Potsdam, auf der sich mit den HolocaustleugnerInnen Ursula Haverbeck und Horst Mahler solidarisiert und die Abschaffung von § 130 Volksverhetzung gefordert wurde.
Kohlmann trat in Aue mit einer Bibel auf, aus der er wirre Thesen zur Abweisung von Muslimen und Musliminnen ableitete. Er behauptete, die Schrift werde von KirchenvertreterInnen ideologisch instrumentalisiert und umgedeutet, wogegen man sich zur Wehr setzen müsse. Vor seiner Rede bedrängte der Anwalt noch zwei Journalisten, die er aus unmittelbarer Nähe abfotografierte.
Die Veranstaltung verlief weitgehend ohne Störungen. Abgeschlossen wurde diese von einem Sänger, der eine nationalistische Abwandlung des aus dem Erzgebirge stammenden Bergmannslied „Steigermarsch“ vorführte.

I love film photography most. I started to shoot on the film when i was 12 yo. after my high school I photographed on digital and in 2020 i came back to the film. In two year i spread my point of view to film and raised my family size to medium format 6x6 and 4.5x6 and finaly in 2022 i juped to do Large format 4x5.

I am not a morning person, but this bird had the power to make me get up at the ungodly hour of 6 in the morning and travel to the pit of hills 40km away to capture it, where I had spotted it two weeks ago (when the picture was taken) the first time. Too bad the light was poor, sky overcast and he was under the shade of a tree. Despite all the odds, I managed to take some useable shots of him. I love him and his call.
The White-capped Water-redstart (Chaimarrornis leucocephalus) is a species of bird of the Muscicapidae family, in the monotypic genus Chaimarrornis. The generic name of this species is derived from the Greek kheimarrhos meaning torrent and ornis meaning bird.
Male with larger white pattern on top of the head and brown red spots under the wings. It is found in the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, as well as some adjoining areas. The species ranges across Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tibet and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is temperate forests.
Sadly, Summer's almost over. As much as I don't want it to end, I'm sort of excited for school. Senior year! I'm worried everything will go by way too fast but life won't wait for me to catch up so I guess I better wear my running shoes and at least try.

Met this amazing person at the Jazz Hip-Hop Freestyle sessions in Foundry 616 in 2013. Steve 'Slam' Lamante adapts to diverse sets that often culminate in different forms of jams and on the spot improvisations. Had an impromptu shoot with him just before the Monday Jam in December 2014 - having him deliver different variations and patterns of drumming, I tried to capture his identity as an artist while keeping the setting classical yet natural -
