Perhaps Lady Wulfrun could inform us of the make of lamp? Mark and Poodle pose against some heritage street furniture in Harley Road, Bents Green, Sheffield. We're still en route to pub No. 4 and Pogo is beginning to moan...

Perhaps one of the better known names in the car industry, the Corolla has become perennial best seller thanks to its clever combination or reliability and value. The eighth generation of the car was introduced in Japan in 1995 and quickly reached markets around the world. Offered in several body styles (depending on the market), for me the saloon will always be special because I learned to drive in an E100 saloon.
Perhaps Jaipur's most recognisable landmark is the 15 metre-high Hawa Mahal, or Palace of the Winds. It was erected in 1799 to allow the ladies of the harem to observe what was going on in the street below without being seen by strangers. They would be invisible behind the screens of its 953 windows.
A funny few moments during our trip to the zoo during the week. He's two and a half and seems to be a brazen young man.She was a complete stranger but he went to her, held her hands and demanded to know what her name was. She wasn't so sure that she wanted to let him know.
Wish I had his audacity :-))
Perhaps my favorite place in Europe, Scotland continues to draw me back time and time again.
These photos were taken on a Canon T3i during a 6 day road trip through the Scottish highlands.
You can learn more about the locations covered and the route I took on virtualwayfarer.com.

Perhaps I am taking this sign a bit too literally...
This sign SPOT CAB is meant for the train crews to know where to stop. Today this Northbound wasted no time in skipping past this sign and stop at the right sign for him.

Perhaps the most opulent ode to privacy, each of these mud-style thatched suites is steeped in the romance of bygone tribal living. The handcrafted king size beds, tribal-print curtains and split-bamboo ceilings are intrinsic to each hut. Bottle-gourd lampshades and tribal art elements harmoniously blend with the decor and the design in keeping with the tribal inspired theme. Offering breathtaking views of the Kabini river, the 2400 Sqft Pool Huts come with a large living area, a climate-controlled bedroom, a luxurious open-courtyard-attached bath, two airy verandas and...yes...your own personal swimming arena.
Perhaps this could have been better if Dillan's pose had been a little stronger, but I'm very bad at giving modeling directions.

The Rocketdyne F1 is still the most powerful rocket engine ever created. There are five preserved that are exhibited on Saturn V first stage S-IC-T at the Kennedy Space Center.

If someone could tell me the name of the artist and the title of the sculpture, I would appreciate it very much.
This photograph, although perhaps taken to fulfil a propaganda function, was maybe taken for more personal reasons. The photographers travelled around with various groups of soldiers, and as such, may have formed relationships. Perhaps this scene caught John Warwick Brooke's imagination and was taken to fill in a period of rest time.
The dramatic nature of this caption may have been for propaganda purposes only and these soldiers were simply resting as part of their routine. It is, however, now difficult to tell and these soldiers may indeed have been on their way to battle.

Perhaps a mistake. Looks like a caffeine and sugar overload to me. But, like many things that are bad for you, it was nice.
Perhaps the most elaborate tomb in the cathedral is that of Archbishop Henry Chichele (d.1443) on the north side of the choir. The bishop's effigy lies resplendent on an open chest which reveals his emaciated cadaver effigy beneath, providing a dramatic contrast (the monument was mostly built in Chichele's lifetime). The richest part however is the canopy, a flat top (in common with Canterbury's other more sumptuous medieval monuments) carved with shield-bearing angels and supported on either side by tabernacle-encrusted columns, filled with sculpted figures in canopied niches and like the rest of the monument fully coloured.
It should be added that much of this splendour, specifically the colouring and the statuettes in niches, is the result of thorough Victorian restoration (by the studio of C.E.Kempe) with the cost born by All Soul's College in Oxford (which was founded by Chichele, a legacy was provided to inspect and if necessary repair the tomb every 50 years).
Perhaps one of San Francisco's least known attractions but certainly among its greatest treasures, Balmy Alley is located in the Mission District between 24th and 25th Streets and just south of Fulton Avenue. The alley is home to more than thirty vibrant and colorful murals painted on fences, building walls and garage doors. Most depict the struggle for human rights and freedom by the working class but some feature cartoon-like illustrations that are playful and juvenile. Muralists began working here as early as 1971. Many of the original murals still exist as well as others that have been painted over the intervening years.
These murals, entitled "The Five Sacred Colors of Corn", were painted by Susan Kelk Cervantes and Mia Gonzales in 1996.

Perhaps the most famous out of Kyoto's thousands of temples, this one is a very impressive site. So is the amount of tourists, but still I found this place a hundred times more relaxing than e.g. Beijing's Forbidden City.
Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion) is officially named Rokuon-ji ("Deer Garden Temple") and dates back from a late 14th century villa, converted into a temple. However, the building was burnt down in 1950 by a maniac and reconstructed. The garden complex is an excellent example of Muromachi period garden design. The correlation between buildings and its settings were greatly emphasized during this period. It was a way to integrate the structure within the landscape in an artistic way. The garden designs were characterized by a reduction in scale, a more central purpose, and a distinct setting.
Puraran Beach is a world-class surf spot and perhaps the most popular attraction in Catanduanes.
Ever since the 1970s, when an Australian surfer by the name of Peter Sutton discovered that this secluded cove harbors long-barrel waves perfect for surfing and christened them the "Majestics", international surfers and backpackers have endured the rough roads and tempestuous weather to experience this charming beach.

Perhaps half of the ammo we found - loose - in an ammo can after we thought we were done clearing the range. I had to put all those bullets on the clips myself.
Perhaps not too difficult to place, but there is something a little strange about the faded lettering above the windows, which I will come to in due course.
It might perhaps surprise even some Catholics to learn that, before 1965 and still to a large extent until 1969/70, not only was the liturgy recited or sung wholly in Latin but the priest did this for the most part inaudibly and with his back to the assembled congregation. This tradition -which can be traced back to medieval times and, in some of its aspects, even earlier- reflected beliefs about the role of the priest as representative of the people; offering, by dint of his special office, prayer and sacrifice to God on their behalf.* An exception was the short homily or sermon which, following the first of two Gospel readings, was delivered in English either from a portable lectern within the chancel or from a pulpit overlooking the nave.
At Holy Communion the consecrated host was received by the communicant directly onto her or his tongue whilst in a kneeling position in the forward-most part of the nave.
These practises determined the internal lay-out of Catholic churches built before 1965. The photograph shows the original pulpit at Our Lady's, still then in situ at the front of the nave on its east (liturgical south) side. Pitch pine communion rails separate the nave from the chancel, the latter containing no forward altar or ambo as presently but just the original high altar standing flush with the north (liturgical east) wall.

Following clarification of the Church's position by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007, several parishes have reverted to celebrating mass in the traditional -or, as it is termed in his “Summorum Pontificum”, extraordinary- form. Among these is St Mary's, Warrington, from where the daily mass is streamed in real time and can thereafter be viewed as a recording at www.livemass.net.

Perhaps a prototype or one of a very small quantity made for Polk Brothers, a major but now defunct Chicago area retailer, this rebranded Princess 300 was produced in 1957. (I've never seen another example.) The owner's manual, most of whose text looks like it was typed and then photo-offset, gives the distributor as Polk Bros. Typewriter Co., Chicago 47. The manual indicates that the push button ribbon color selector on the left of the keyboard should show blue, red and white (for stencil), but the actual machine shows green, red and yellow (for stencil). The rocker button to the right of the keyboard is for setting and clearing tabs -- it's unusual to have a tabulator on such a flat machine; there's also a clear-all-tabs lever on the right-hand side of the carriage. Serial number 110208. Made in West Germany.
