Stuck indoors so no object was safe! Here I have my two favourite Arabian perfume oil bottles (look like little buildings!) up against the top off a another perfume bottle. The top is two doves. Propped all this onto a mirrored table top to get the interesting reflections and study the light.
Lush stock-up time! The usual solid shampoos (Seanik and Karma Komba), plus I got the 8 new Gorilla Perfumes sample. I also got a couple of samples of Alkmaar and Lust (I wish I liked Flying Fox -- this one smells a little less intense). At Sephora, I got the Urban Decay Super-Saturated lip color in F-Bomb. Love these lipsticks.
More Armani samples: this time, foundation. I'm going to give the Luminous Silk foundation a try.
Nail polish, nail polish: I either bought these from CVS, Sephora, Ulta, or through a purchase on head2toe. Zoya Maisie, Nicole by OPI Opal Texture (love the opal effect, hate the shatter), Revlon Runway Pearl, Sephora by OPI It's My Pink (scented with Betsey Johnson's Too Too), a whole lot of Poshe topcoat, China Glaze Liquid Crystal, China Glaze Prism, China Glaze Luxe and Lush, China Glaze Fast Track, and China Glaze Gothic Lolita.
Yes, I also got the Garnier "BB cream." Texture is a little unlike what I'm used to for BB creams. Coverage is... meh. I'll keep this one in my work desk drawer on an emergency basis.
A perfume bottle filled with a variety of gold beads and scraps is recycled into a beautiful soldered Christmas ornament. I topped this one with a reused brass bead from a belt.

The Client provided me with the ring box and paper bag from the jeweller which I had as the basis for the design of this hamper.
I chose items from the Clarins mens range to complement the blue and gold packaging. I also purchased the Paco Rabbane 1 Million Perfume, as the gold stood out rather nicely from the rest of the blue items. I used a model car from Autostyle Motorsport (011) 839 1036} and packaged in a gold box, studded with gems.

This was a result of a first try with my new light tent. My wife collects perfume bottles so borrowed them

The Perfume Pagoda or Perfume Temple (Vietnamese: Chùa Hương) is in fact a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. It is the site of a religious festival which draws large numbers of pilgrims from across Vietnam. The centre of the Perfume Temple lies in Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, former Ha Tay Province (now Hanoi). The centre of this complex is the Perfume Temple, also known as Chua Trong (Inner Temple), located in Huong Tich Cave.
It is thought that the first temple was a small structure on the current site of Thien Tru which existed during the reign of Lê Thánh Tông in the 15th century. Legend claims that the site was discovered over 2000 years ago by a monk meditating in the area, who named the site after a Tibetan mountain where Lord Buddha practiced asceticism. A stele at the current temple dates the building of a terrace, stone steps and Kim Dung shrine to 1686, during the reign of Le Hy Tong, at around the same time that Chua Trong was being constructed. Over the years some of the structures were damaged and replaced. The original statues of Lord Buddha and Quan Am were cast from bronze in 1767 and replaced with the current statues in 1793. More recently, damage was done during both the French and the American wars. Both the gate and the bell tower at Thien Tru Pagoda were destroyed, the bell tower rebuilt in 1986 and the gate completed in 1994.
