I took this without realising that the tall cup of coffee and the small plate of fruit will be so similar to each other if I take a picture from above... I'd like to say it was done voluntarily, but it is not so.

DESIGN CITY 2016
DESIGN IS (NOT) ART
27.04.2016 – 22.05.2016“Design ≠ Art?” – the lead question of Design City 2016 – aims to challenge our perceptions and opinions of the world around us. The biennial’s title, design is (not) art, is intended to be ambiguous, thoughtprovoking and attract attention. In this hyper-connected world, is it even possible to differentiate design from art? Can something be both art and design? This area of uncertainty is precisely what this year’s biennial aims to explore. In the spirit of ‘design thinking’ and transcultural exchange, Design City 2016 brings together designers with original and inventive ideas about the function and purpose of design. A range of exhibitions will highlight pioneering concepts, and will investigate the blurred lines between art and design, the power of urban design and its benefits for a city such as Luxembourg. From 27 April to 22 May 2016, the Design City biennial will stir emotions, pose resonant questions and provoke creative ideas, as well as offer many enriching discussions.Curators: Anna Loporcaro (Mudam), Anouk Wies, Elsa and Gilles Gardula (Cercle Cité / In Progress), Kevin Muhlen and Benjamin Loyauté (Casino / Le Bruit des Bonbons – The Astounding Eyes of Syria), Steph Meyers (Rotondes), Nadine Clemens (Design Friends), Hans Fellner (projet #lookinbetween), Patrizia Luchetta, Tali Cohen-Anderson and Anne Bugugnani (DZigning the TimeLine – Inclusive design for the elderly)

Many studies that shown that cognitive therapy works. In depression, for instance, cognitive therapists argue that it is one's negative self-defeating thoughts that underlie the depression.
In much the same way, that Buddhists view all afflictive emotions as distorted, cognitive therapists view these negative depression-generating thoughts as "essentially distorted."
