Adelie penquins are one of the 4 species we saw: Adelies, Chin Straps, Chentoos and the rare Emperors; rare because we saw them so far from their much colder area near the south pole.

these little adorable guys all marched up to this door for some reason ... maybe for dinner ? it was about 5.30 PM..they are such delightful little birds and make you smile watching them

Penquins looking to the sun with a little red friend

Random lover birds in the penquin environment.

At the time of our visit in February these young penguins were approaching their time of departure to the sea, not to return for several years.

This penquin was going all over looking for rocks to add to his collection.
