Penguins were the main highlight during our Antarctic adventure trip.
The Emperor penguin is the largest of all penguins. They grow to around 115 cm and it weighs 30-40 kilograms. Winter arrives in March in Antarctica. All creatures leave except for the emperor, the only animal that spends the winter in Antarctica’s open ice.
I immediately fell in love with the penguins, with their waddling gait, peaceful demeanor and striking features. I could spend hours watching these lovely creatures.
we had to fly 2 hours from we where camping to reach the emperor penguins..
We spent 6 hours there felt like 6 minutes, no joke...
