South Georgia is a British overseas territory in the southern Atlantic Ocean. South Georgia is 103 miles long and 22 miles wide. The island supports many sea birds including huge colonies of king penguins. More than 100,000 can be seen in Salisbury plain.

This cute little penguin was posing for photographs. Coincidentally this is a Gentoo penguin. It's nice that they named the species after a Linux distribution. I wonder what a Debian Penguin would look like?
