(2002 - 2007) Made in Heaven I

This is a tribute to Bio-hazard 2 / Resident Evil 2 (1998), the iconic survival horror game made by Capcom.

The portrait subject is Claire Redfield, the pony tailed biker heroine in her iconic "Made in Heaven" pink denim outfit, proudly looking onward.

The original sketch was done traditionally with a ball point pen and digitally colored in Photoshop.

(2019) Peace Thoughts

Much thoughts about what happened and happening in Hong Kong recently.

Hopefully Chinese people stay united and have wisdom to be rational and able to see a bigger picture.

I would like to see a peaceful world that we can progress greatly in 21st Century, instead of taking steps backward due chaos and distrusts.

Above all, I would like to see justice served.

I would like to see justice served to the escaped murderer who killed his girlfriend and her unborn baby in Taiwan then hid in Hong Kong, that started this whole thing.

(2019) Everlasting

Have been busy moving, and left me not much time to post anything for daily art.

Of course, the recent unresolved issue with Instagram also brought down my spirit a little.

But something is everlasting, like love, like family, like the essence of truth and beauty.

I do think goodness and truthfulness will prevail over evilness and lies, even it will takes a life time.

I guess this is what a believer calls what faith is.

當然，最近Instagram未解決的問題也讓我情緒有些低落。

但有些東西是天長地久的，如愛一樣，像家庭一樣，似真理和美的本質。

我堅信善良和誠實將勝過邪惡和謊言，不是不到，只是時候未到。

我想這就是信徒所說的信仰。

Here's an abstract tribute to Batman and Joker, with an art inspired by Picasso's Guernica (1937).

I think the same sentiment applies to almost everything, like we can replace “trust” with a “society” or a “city”.

Granted nothing escapes entropy, but we shall not despair and should never give in to destruction.
